Privacy policy

This policy explains what Pure Health Designs ("we", "us") collects through purehealthdesigns.com, why, where it is kept, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can and we never sell it.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into one of our forms:
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Notify me / Join the list: your email address and, if you chose one, the product you asked about.
- Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you picked, and your message.
With each submission we also record the date and time and the page of our site it was sent from, so we know which product or article it relates to. We do not ask for your address, phone number, date of birth or payment details, and the site does not place advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To send the confirmation email you receive right after signing up or writing to us.
- To tell you when the products you asked about are available.
- To send the monthly letter from Dr Singh, if you subscribed to it.
- To read and reply to your messages.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Our website and forms run on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States (US East, N. Virginia). Form entries are stored in an encrypted AWS database (Amazon DynamoDB) with backups, and our emails are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). AWS processes this information only on our behalf. Notifications about new form entries are delivered to our team's email, which is hosted by Google Workspace.
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when you visit. Google's own privacy policy applies to that connection.
How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up for as long as you stay on our list. Contact messages are kept for as long as we need them to help you. When you unsubscribe we keep a record of your email address marked as unsubscribed, so that we never email you again by mistake; ask us and we will delete that record too.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link. It takes effect immediately.
- See, correct or delete your information: email hello@thefunctionalmds.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Health information
We do not ask for health information, and this website is not a medical service. Please do not include diagnoses, medications or other medical details in your messages. If you are a patient of Dr Singh, use your clinic's patient channels for anything about your care.
Security
Information travels to us over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is stored encrypted. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the site and answer you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email you before it takes effect.
